It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas
Boys will be boys
Today while I was working in the yard I let Ben come out and play with me. I asked him to stay out of the mud holes that Ozzy creates when it rains. He was good for a long time and played on his swing and slide. Then it got quiet and I looked over and he was happily sitting in a hole of muddy water. He was quite content to just sit there. He was probably thinking that it was the perfect way to win himself yet another trip to the bath to play!!! I’m glad I thought first and didn’t but his brand new shoes on him to play in the backyard.
Boys in the bath
I think everytime I ask Ben if he wants a bath both he and Ozzy go running for the tub. Ozzy just can’t be left out of a single bathing. Ben’s newest “trick” in the tub is acting like he’s swimming on his tummy – which is really hard to do with Ozzy in the tub since all he wants to do is attack the splashes. I know when Ben is ready to get out of the tub when toys start flying out of the tub like you can see Ernie in the air in this picture (this is the same routine we have a meal time).
A ZOO kind of a day
Today was a beautiful day to go to the zoo and we were lucky enough to have daddy go with us! Ben ran like the wind and it was nice to have a second baby chaser. He ran right through the birds but liked everything else we saw. He did really good with the animals in the petting zoo and was very gentle. The funniest part of the day was when Brooke fell down and started crying and Ben ran back to that same spot and laid down on the ground and started a long drawn out fake-like cry. Robyn and I were laughing so hard (of course Brooke was fine).
