6 month check-up

Ben went for his 6 month check up today.  He’s still about to bust off the charts but he’s holding pretty steady.  He’s 24 lbs 1.7oz and 28 inches long.  Our regular peditrician was back from maternity leave this visit and Ben responded great to her.  He wanted to grab at her stethoscope as she was checking his heart.  He got 4 shots today and seems to be doing well with them.  He’s been a little crankier than normal and of course it would work out that Jim wasn’t home tonight to give me a breather.

We joined a Gymboree class that we’ll be going to on Wednesday morning.  The classes for 6-10 month olds are designed to help them learn about cause and effect.  Last week Ben did really well in the class and I’m sure as the weeks go on he’ll really start to blossom.
