Jump for Joy
This has been one of Ben’s favorite pastimes lately. He hangs in the doorway of the study when we are on the computer and in the doorway of the bathroom when I’m getting ready. Today he was jumping around so much with his left arm hanging out I was afraid he was going to hurt his arm on the door jam. The weight limit is 25 pounds so he better enjoy while he can.
He unoffically weighs 23-24 pounds based on the bathroom scale. So his growing has slowed a little bit – maybe it is because of all the jumping!
Tonight he went to bed for the first time without the incline wedge. I like the wedge so much because I think it is softer on his head than the mattress. He started rolling from his back to his front this afternoon. I was sure he wouldn’t do it again once Jim got home but he came through for us. So now that he’s rolling back and forth I thought it was time to let him go where he wants in the bed. He still likes being swaddled when he sleeps which is a whole different issue because they don’t make blankets big enough to swaddle babies this big!!! So we’ll see how he sleeps without the wedge…or more like how I sleep worrying about how he’s doing.
