Feed me…NOW!
Ben got his first taste of rice cereal today. He happily sat in the high chair while I got everything ready and had his mouth open when the spoon was coming at him. Unfortunately he didn’t know what to do once the cereal was in his mouth. A little bit got swallowed while the rest ran down his chin. I think he’s ready since his tongue didn’t reject it but he’s got a ways to go to figure out that he needs to swallow it when I put it in his mouth. We’ll try again tomorrow and I’m sure we’ll have better luck.

He’s so cute–this eating stuff is “serious business!”
We used to feed the babies in their little carriers/infant seats, so gravity helped move the food to the back of their mouths. He likes to eat. He’ll get the hang of it pretty soon.
I see the high chair is another “baby addition” to your decor. Amazing how they take over, isn’t it?
