Disneyland Adventures
We had a great time at Disneyland with Ben. The time change threw him for a loop and we had a hard time keep him awake for the fireworks but it was a great trip. Ben loved roller coasters and wanted to ride them over and over again. His favorite was Mulholland Madness which twisted back and forth then dipped down. We rode the ferris wheel pictures and it was unlike any ferris wheel we’ve ever been on with the rocking/rolling cars – Ben kept saying, “don’t panic!” He was terrified of all the characters so we didn’t have to spend any time waiting to meet them. At Goofy’s Kitchen he hid under the table when they came near us…that was a waste!ds
California Coast
3/22/2010 – After visiting Legoland we found a beach to play and have lunch. The water was almost to cold to keep your feet in but Ben was so excited about the ocean that he went in and got soaked. I couldn’t believe how busy the beach was with water that was maybe 60 degrees. There was a pier with a diner at the end looking over the ocean. It had great burgers, fries, and milkshakes – yummy!!!

Oil Ranch
3/26/2010 Ben’s school went to the oil ranch and they had a blast. There was so much to do – ride the train, horseback riding, hay rides, fed the cows, rope swing, and got to visit inside tee pee’s. This picture of Ben was the THEME of the day with him running everyone and with the twins in a stroller it was had to keep up!

Master Painter
Ben was painting today with watercolors and decided that his sister was the perfect canvas. I didn’t see it happening but she was as quiet as a mouse while he was creating his masterpiece. Jim mentioned that he got paint on her but I had no idea what was going on. She adores her brother and really looks up to him already.
